Common questions about VisionAI.

How does VisionAI work?
Press F4 on any page, select a region of your screen, and VisionAI sends that selection to an AI model which returns an answer. It works on any website, including Blackboard, Canvas, Google Classroom, and more.
Is my data private?
Yes. AI inference runs on our own self-hosted GPU — your screenshots never leave our infrastructure and are not shared with any third-party AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, etc.). Captures are processed in memory and discarded immediately; we only store your email, display name, and daily query count for authentication and rate limiting.
What are the usage limits?
The free tier allows 10 queries per day, which resets every 24 hours. Premium gives you unlimited queries with no daily or monthly cap.
Can I change the capture key?
Yes. Open the extension popup, go to Settings, and click the Capture Key field. Press your preferred key to set it.
Which platforms does it work on?
VisionAI is a Chrome extension and works on any Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, etc.).
