1. Acceptance

By installing or using VisionAI ("the Extension"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Extension.

2. Description

VisionAI is a Chrome extension and web study tool that captures screen regions and uses our self-hosted AI models (running on our own GPU hardware) to answer questions about the selected content or uploaded study materials.

3. Accounts

You must create an account (email/password or Google) to use the Extension. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

4. Free Tier & Subscriptions

Free tier: Limited to 10 queries per day. Daily limit resets at midnight UTC.

Premium subscription: Unlimited queries, subject to fair-use to prevent automated abuse. Available as Monthly ($4.99/mo) or Yearly ($50.99/yr, save 15%) plans.

Billing: All payments processed by Paddle. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. You can cancel anytime from your Paddle customer portal. No partial refunds for partial billing periods.

Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Paddle per their refund policy. We generally honour refunds within 14 days of purchase.

Query calculation: One query equals one capture or question sent to the AI. Free-tier counter resets at the start of each day; unused queries do not carry over.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Extension to:

• Process illegal, harmful, or abusive content
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the Extension
• Bypass the daily limit through automated means
• Resell access to the AI models directly

6. Disclaimer

The Extension is provided "as is" without warranty. AI-generated answers may be inaccurate. We are not liable for damages arising from use of the Extension.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
